I returned to Savannah College of Art and Design for an alumni panel with SCAD Beauty! It was a joy to meet all the new seniors and answer their questions about my senior capstone experience, working at The Estée Lauder Companies Inc., and working in the beauty industry after university. It was also mind-blowing to see all of these items with my face and Mrs. Estee Lauder.

Panelist: WayUp x Estee Lauder Companies

I spoke with students about my career and experience in partnership with Estée Lauder Companies Inc. and Way Up. Over 400 people attended the call!

I was joined by Frederick Kim at Tom Ford, Michelle Manning and Megan Rovitto from Global Talent Management at ELC. We explored what marketing is at Estée Lauder Companies and how impactful it is to see products created from start to finish. The students and graduates had wonderful questions that sparked curiosity and interest in marketing and joining the beauty industry.

Panelist: Estee Lauder North America Advisory Board

One of the most exciting things I like to discuss in the beauty industry is the power of trends. As a part of the North American Advisory Board, I was asked to join ELC’s North American Consumer Trends to Action presentation for a special Q&A to answer NA-led trends in skincare, makeup, wellness, and more. My fellow board members, Arianna Alleyne, and Jenny Sheary, joined me to talk about our POVs and how we engage with products in real life. Thank you to my fellow board members, including Yasmine Laasraoui, who gathered all these fantastic trends and asked us to join the panel for ELC employees, from executives to associates, to learn more about Consumer Trends!

April 2023

Panelist: International Career Symposium at Benjamin Mays High School on behalf of The Azalea City Chapter of The Links, Incorporated.

I spoke with young women about my experience in my international career in beauty, marketing, and art history. It was a joy seeing their beautiful faces and answering their questions. Thank you to Lalohni (LA) Campbell for the invitation!

I spoke to a group of SCAD Students about my experience in the beauty industry and the transition from student to professional. One of my favorite moments was the beginning chapter of my presentation, where I highlighted myself: past and present. I reminded them to keep the child-like curiosity going in their lives.

Thank you Wendy Ogden for inviting to speak with your Savannah College of Art and Design Beauty students!

I am excited to share the work that Noble (The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. Black Employee Resource Group) has done in partnership with Bumble and bumble. In this exciting moment, I lead the behind-the-scenes work to create this fantastic panel and event with our chosen editorial hairstylists and SVP, Corey Reese, to discuss the future of Black Hair. Plus, I got to hair model with two other ELC employees (Rachel and Magna).
